Queen
The first time I saw Queen in San Francisco, it was around the time of ‘Sheer Heart Attack’ and they played at a ‘Two Dollar Tuesday’ at Winterland. Up and coming bands would sometimes play these to attract an audience to check ‘em out for very little coin; KISS had also done a ‘Two Dollar Tuesday’.
They were magnificent!!!! But I didn't bring the camera that time. Next time around was at Berkeley Community Theater, a smaller venue than Winterland, and this was on the ‘Night At The Opera’ tour, so it was surprising they played someplace that small.
Still, I managed to get good seats and took both color and black and white photos, though the black and white versions of the color ones often look better than the color ones.
