Graham Parker
I first saw Graham Parker and the Rumour at a small club called the Savoy Tivoli in the North Beach part of San Francisco. They rocked, and they sure packed more of a punch live than they did on their recently released debut record! I made it my business to see GP whenever he came to town.
The pictures here were taken at Winterland in San Francisco, when he opened for Thin Lizzy, and at the Old Waldorf nightclub in 1979, at a show that was later released as ‘Graham Parker and the Rumour Live in San Francisco’.
