Neil Young

I’d been a Neil Young fan since the 1960’s, when I first heard ‘Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere’, and then got his first one plus the Buffalo Springfield albums. ‘After The Gold Rush’ was great, but unlike for most people, ‘Harvest’ just didn’t do it for me.

He got weird again after that with ‘On The Beach’, ‘Tonight’s The Night’, and ‘Zuma’ and I liked those. I went to see him for the first time at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, shortly before the release of ‘Rust Never Sleeps’, and wow, what a show that was! That’s where I took these photos, and these shows were used for the ‘Live Rust’ album.

But after ‘Faded Glory’ and the ‘Weld’ live album, both of which were awesome, I lost interest in him and haven't heard any of the dozens of albums he's released since.
