Blondie
Blondie was always a fine band, but they were not very ‘poppy’ when I first saw them in early '77; at these shows they did in San Francisco in early ’77 at our main punk club, the Mabuhay Gardens, the band was much more punk rock, more like the Ramones, who would come a few weeks later (or who had been there a few weeks earlier, I forget).
Earlier in the day, Debbie paid a visit to our main indie record shop in SF at the time, Aquarius Records, not to do an ‘in-store’, but to go shopping for records!
