Boomtown Rats
Not much I can really say about Boomtown Rats. Bob Geldof went on to much greater fame and fortune in music and television, but the Rats had a big hit with "I Don't Like Mondays", and there were plenty of other good songs on their 1st album, which had been released shortly before.
The Kabuki Theater, where I shot these, was a wonderful venue in San Francisco's Japantown, and I saw a great many bands there, from ABC to Metallica. Alas, it was converted to a multiplex cinema many decades ago...
